|On Friday, the 14th. we headed up to Death Valley to check out the campground areas and decided to drive back to Tecopa on the south or Badwater road from Furnace creek. There is so much to see, it could take weeks to see it all and it changes so much. This is really a unique area and I will try to show you with pictures. I took way too many photos but it kept looking different and almost like a postcard picture, it was really hard to choose what I can put here so hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed the park. Zabriskie point is all like a postcard. I remember going to the Grand Canyon and saying WOW, you can't get it all in a picture, well that's also true here in Death Valley. We stopped at Zabriskie Point, looked at lots of flowers in bloom and lots of weird rocks. then headed to Badwater Basin(the lowest point in the lower 48 states) and viewed TelescopePeak across from it at 11049'. Saw the small shell-less snails who can live in the very salty water of badwater basin and found 20 mule team canyon then went back to Tecopa for the night with plans to drive up to Sunset campground at Furnace creek on Saturday.
