Friday, August 4, the whole tour group got on a bus and headed for Bayfield, Wisconsin at 8:00 am. It was an hour ride to Bayfield. We boarded the boat the Island Princess for a three-hour tour of the Apostle Islands. There are 22 islands that make up this National Park. Most of the islands have lighthouses. The most interesting island is Devil's Island, which has the Sea Caves and a lighthouse. It was great weather and nice boat ride. After the cruise we were taken to the Rittenhouse Inn for a fancy lunch. They explained each course and how it was made and then a history lesson of the house and the city of Bayfield. We then visited some of the Bed and Breakfast rooms they have to offer. Maybe a little advertising? Anyway it was interesting and a great lunch. We were allowed a little shopping time at the Bayfield stores and then the bus ride back to the campground. That evening the KOA gave us an Ice Cream Social. Saturday, the whole group is driving their own RVs to Munising, Michigan.
