Myer's Cabin and barn - old homestead in Muscatec State Park near...

cows and horses and pigs in the barn!

farmer watches over the livestock - or is that mockstock?

The drive to Versailles took 2 days. I stayed in a Sam’s Club in Oakwood, OH and got there just as the store was closing. It was a quiet night and I felt safe because I saw a patrol car every half hour in the evening. Supper was a big salad at Wendy’s and breakfast was McDonald’s fare.

When I got to the park, I ended up picking the same site as I was in before but this time, I backed in, wasn’t happy with the location, and drove back out to get farther away from the electric post. I should have gone further before turning the wheel because I scraped the paint off a swatch of the back bay door for the generator with the electric post and bent it a bit!

On Tuesday, Angie came over with her boys after school and we had a nice visit for a few hours before they had to go home. Dolores and I went to Goodwill stores on both Tuesday and Wednesday but we also went letter boxing in Seymour and vicinity and had fun doing it! Allan made a peach cobbler one day and great baby back ribs another! He’s a good cook with his dutch oven!
