Nassau ship docking

Nassau house on the bay

We arrived in Nassau at the scheduled time of 8:00 am. We were stopped outside the harbor for about an hour waiting for the Pilot to show up so we could enter the harbor. That was good because that gave everyone time to get around and go up on deck to see us docking. We docked next to another Carnival ship that had arrived before us and there was another waiting behind us to enter the harbor. That put 3 Carnival Cruise ships and a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in port at the same time. The folks in Nassau must enjoy all the tourist on the island, income. We got tied up and the excursions started, everyone was headed off ship. Chip and Candy got with a guy on the pier and he took them on a tour for $20.00 apiece. They went to the Atlantis resort and was it expensive to stay there, it was nice but very over priced for us common folk. The girls went shopping and Carolyn bought a couple star fish, dried out. When she returned to the ship they confiscated them because they couldn’t bring the starfish on board the ship. Cost her $10.00, so the ship crew told her maybe she could take them back and get here money back, fat chance.

With everyone on board, don’t want to leave anyone here, they went to the pool. Just time to relax and enjoy our next day at sea.
