Saturday, June 16, 2007, Carol's birthday, we drove to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was a very short drive into Idaho, only about 40 minutes and we arrived at the Riverview RV Park. The parking spots were again very close together but there was more maneuvering room in this park. The attraction at this town is the huge lake that is here. By looking at the map it is a skinny lake but must be about 20 miles long. There was a lot of building going on and a lot of new looking buildings also. As we drove in, we spotted an Outback Steakhouse so we went there for dinner to celebrate Carol's birthday. Sunday, Father's Day, we drove back west by five miles to the little town of Post Falls, Idaho. The Red Lion Hotel there has a boat that takes you down the Coeur d'Alene River on a dinner cruise. This river feeds the Coeur d'Alene Lake and much of the river is lined with many large, fancy houses and all of them had their own private boat docks. These folks could cruise down the river and then have a huge lake in which to play. Our cruise boat was sort of small. It would only seat 45 people, but it was a nice cruise down the river and into the lake a little ways and then returned. It was about a 3-hour cruise; the food was served buffet style and it was acceptable. We had a light rain part of the time but that was not a problem.

Monday, we are heading to Missoula, Montana
