Life is good.. Dave got me a birdfeeder to set up in our backyard and I have had a great time watching all the birds and critters coming in besides our hummingbird feeder which is busy and also attracts our Gila woodpeckers who have quite a time hanging upside down but manage quite well to empty it. Have had lots of fun out here with the 4 wheeler going into the desert- Dave has made 5 trips out and I have gone 2 times and Virge (his brother-in-law) has gone along 2 times. I went along on a trip thru box canyon which was great. It is so hard to believe that you can go down the road and off for 10 or 15 minutes and the country changes so completely. We are in the desert and box canyon is in the mountains. Dave & Virge went up to Queen Valley and took a trail up thru the mountains by some old mines. We now have three 4 wheelers and a dirt bike here and several from the other Rv park next door who go out together. Good way to meet people and lots of fun. We went over to the Pinal county fairgrounds for the fiddlers fest and craft show along with a classic car show-lots of cars even had the Budweiser team and wagon there for a parade. Was a great way to spend a Saturday in the sunshine. Our 4 wheeler hauling cart is sure getting lots of attention down here and we let them all know where we got it- Crystal Welding in Mn. We finally got up to Scottsdale to visit with friends- Nancy & Paul. They were my bosses when I worked for the ambulance service and I came out here with them 20 years or so ago and that's when I fell in love with Arizona. Had a great chinese lunch with them and enjoyed a visit. They will come to see our home and share a Valentines meal with us in February. more later.
