Last trip thru Box Canyon this year

On Monday we made our last 4 wheel trip thru Box Canyon for this year. Joe & Karen led the way with their gps unit. We also explored a couple other trails, one just a short ways to a tall hill, Dave says it goes back to Price road where we parked the truck but not sure how so we'll leave that for another time. Also checked out the other small box canyon trail off the side and found a really neat small canyon for our lunch stop. Flowers are starting to bloom in the canyon even without any rain since October . Although we had a little rain today(Wednesday) and may be more on the way. It would be welcome by all, just hope it's not pouring on Monday when we plan on packing up to leave for Yuma. We met some friends from home, Chisago City area who winter down here in Phoenix for dinner, went to the Mining Camp Restraurant in Apache Junction- all you can eat and great food, super company, a good time was had by all.
