What a life this is, we keep making new friends and meeting up with old friends. We called and got together with Bob & Diana & Gary ( the friends we went to Mexico with last year and invited them out to our place for a Bar BQue and deep fried turkey and invited Gord & Linda ( our new neighbors & friends from BC) and then sat around a bonfire after eating pecan pie.Enjoyed a nice visit and some good wine too. They invited us to join them for the Yuma Chili Fest and so we thought we would get to taste some of the best-wrong, not very well organized for as many times as they have done this. They didn't have the kits ready to buy at 10:30am and most of the 12 were out of chili before we could get around, but tasted a couple good ones and enjoyed the old town Yuma area and people watching. Then returned a call to friends from Chisago City,MN ( they ran the BEST bakery in Mn.) and are now full timing in a motorhome, they have been here in Yuma for awhile getting some mexican dental work taken care of. They really have some good dentists and eye doctors there and good prices. We visited Neil & Dee at Rivers Edge RV park and then they decided to come out and camp with us next week. Lots of planting and harvesting going on here all the time. It is really unbelievable all the lettuce fields we see. We are really enjoying boondocking but Dave wanted to add a little more storage so will get 2 more Trojan T-105 batteries, that will give us 6 - 6volt batteries and accoding to the guys(Dave & Gord) 1 1/2 or more 12volt storage that we had. Goodie, I can surf and undate this more often. Amazing isn't it, here I sit in the desert with no ac,water, or hookups and I can't even get cell phone service unless I drive down around the big rock, but I can set at my computer and talk to all of you. More later, got to go get ready for another bonfire.
