We left our free site at Bend and headed to Redding on Sunday and set up in the parking lot of Dan Gamel RV. They want to start right away on Monday am on the MVP(ultraviolet treatment ) for the Teton to protect the paint. So at 8sm we are ready, unhooked and just about to leave for the morning, when they find out they have no way to move a trailer this big so we hook back up and drive it over to the cleaning and polishing area. We left with the dogs to go siteseeing and shopping for the morning. Redding has a fantastic park, convention center, etc. all together on the Sacramento River in town and its really nice. They had a german designer plan a bridge that is a sundial over the gardens on the other side. Spent more time than we planned but it was great. Then a quick trip to Walmart for supplies and back to pick up a gorgeous trailer- They did a great job and it really shines, now Dave will have to find time to wash the truck. Drove on Hwy.299 from Redding over to Arcade on the ocean. It is a pretty drive but lots of pulls up and down and hairpin turns but no problems and a lot of great scenery.
