|Have arrived in Granada for about 5 hours, and really enjoying myself so far. Not only are there lots and lots of things to see and do (according to my Lonely Planet), but I am happy enough just staying in the Hostel (Oasis) and not take a step outside.
There is a swimming pool for those who fancy a dip to cool off from the sweltering heat.
There is a roof terrace with a gorgeous view of the Cathedral for me to enjoy, as I'm handwashing my clothes - though am wishing hadn't brough any whites now...
Lots of hammocks and comfy couches to sink into around the courtyard... and many are taking a nap as we speak...
Book exchange! Free video rental! Free tea and coffee (though the tap water looks a little cloudy...)
Best of all... FREE INTERNET! With that, I'm already bribed! I know that there is a lot for me to catch up with, but hopefully will be able to update you guys with my whereabouts for the last few weeks, plus sharing some photos with you too!
All this, plus still savouring the deliciously yummy lunch which I have just eaten at the Bearded Monkey with Zara... What more can I ask for?? The city, beach, lake, sights can wait until tomorrow... :p
