Niagara's Lazy Lakes Campground, Lockport, NY

Niagara Falls Canadian Rainbow Tour

We decided to go ahead and go on one of the tours because we knew we wouldn't have to worry about parking at each place that way. Our tour guide picked us up at our campground at 10:30. We picked others up on the way to the Niagara Falls area.

Our guide pointed out the old American Power Station that had fallen off and was easily visible from the Canadian side. We drove up to see the whirlpool for a while. Next was a park where there were all kinds of totem poles in it that had been carved by Indians from the area. We drove up to an area where there was an overview of the escarpment and you could see into Lake Erie with Toronto in the distance. We stopped to see the floral clock, stopped for lunch and then came the really fun stuff.

We went on the Maid of the Mist ride after lunch. That was neat. Jonathan sat on Tom's shoulders so he could see well. I think he had the best seat in the house. Hey, he had a seat! After that, we went to see a 4-D movie about the Legend of Niagara. We went to the Skylon Tower and then to Table Rock. That was beautiful too!

Jonathan liked the Skylon Tower best. My favorite was Table Rock. Tom liked the Maid of the Mist best so I guess it was a good thing that we made the rounds. Everybody was happy.

When we got home, Jonathan rode his bike while Tom and I put the other two bikes on the bike rack getting ready for our trip tomorrow. Tom unhooked everything but the power. I got things ready inside the RV while Jonathan got showered and ready for bed. He and I have been snuggling up and reading before bed at night. That's been a lot of fun. We are reading Paddle to the Sea right now. Good book!
