Today we headed south of Adelaide towards Cape Jervis and Victor Harbor. It was a pretty quick trip so we could not see all we wanted but got a taste of the area. It got much greener as we headed towards Gulf St Vincent,Yankalilla Bay and down around to Victor Harbor.

This is the direction to head if you want to go to Kangaroo Island.

We first stopped at Yankalilla. There we got some information about the Ferry to Kangaroo Island. A short cruise was offered to the Island and back... tempting. Unfortunately it took to long to get to the Island and back so we traveled around the Fleurieu Peninsula There were some rocky beaches and beautiful rolling hills. Part of this area is famous for its Vineyards. We had to get back or we would have visited more of Victor Harbour. It looks like a great place to stay awhile. There is a horse drawn tram that takes you to Penguin Island where there are small penguins.
