Flexsteel to Marseilles
Tom and I were up but Jonathan was still in the back sleeping when the Flexsteel people came knocking at the door this morning. There were two people, a man and a woman. The woman seemed to be the coordinator of things while the man took a look at the couch. He said there weren't any spacing blocks on the right side. They took the insides out and measured how it had been attached to the floor and that was off too so they squared it up and put a new bed frame in. It seems to work well now but we'll see how it's doing in a few months.
We met one of Tom's old co-workers from Schaumburg for lunch today, Joe Kubicka. Joe is working at the Dubuque location now so we thought it would be fun to get in touch with him while we were here. We went to the Chinese place down the street from the office. The guys had a chance to talk shop and I didn't have to cook so that was nice. We all had a nice visit.
We headed back to the RV after lunch. Tom worked for the remainder of the day while Jonathan and I finished up his school day. Things were done by 5:00 so we decided to go ahead and drive to Ottawa tonight instead of staying at the campground down by the river. It would give us an extra day to get some things done that way and we might even get to see a few more friends that way.
We arrived at Illini State Park around 10:00. Fortunately we had stayed here before so we were familiar with the layout of the campground. We pulled into one site and got set up but found out that the power was set up in such a way that it kept kicking off so Tom scouted out a couple other sites and we moved to a 50 amp site down the row. Once we were set up there, things were fine.
