We purchased the '03 Tiffin Allegro Bus 38TGP from Lazy Days in late May of '07 with all new tires from Lazy Days and added snap-on sun/privacy screens for the front windows . So, we're the 2nd owners. After we bought it, we traveled over to Texas and registered/licensed up before heading back to Illinois to close the sale of our house. It's been to Tiffin in Spring of '08 to get some upgrades - LCD TV's front & rear, ultraleather sleeper sofa, ultraleather folding dining table chairs, cabinetry work, new driver's window, hi-rise for the awning (it opens/closes while the kitchen slide is in or out now), a 15K Btu air unit in the bedroom, wiring altered to carry additional outlets and the microwave while on battery, quiet/hi-flow water pump, and ultraleather vent / skylight covers. We've also replaced the bed with a queen air mattress (dual controls), installed the upgraded inverter control panel to better-manage the house batteries, 4 new Crown house batteries in '09, Surge Guard 50A hardwired with remote panel, Hughes 50A autoformer, cellular repeater (DA4KSBR-50M), Motosat F2 automatic dish with 6W BUC for iDirect service.
As far as features already provided by Tiffin, it has power mirrors, power driver/passenger captain seats (ultraleather), tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, exhaust brake, 330HP Cat, 10k lb tow hitch, air brake fitting/lights for toad, 3 slides (2 street, 1 curb), 12 cu ft side-by-side fridge, corian countertops, toilet closet w/sink, large shower/tub, 90 gal. fresh water tank, 55 gal. grey tank, 45 gal. black tank, 2 AC (13.5K Btu front) with ducted air, 2 furnaces, 32 gal propane tank, 100gal fuel (fill on both sides), 8KW Onan diesel genset, Freedom 458 - 2500W Inverter, rear camera, automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, window & patio awnings, air-ride/brakes, one-piece fiberglass roof, slide-tray in center storage bay, black-tank rinse, remote-control spot-light, and of course, Tiffin storage everywhere.
We removed the Tiffin water filter and have a Home Depot whole-house filter, instead. It allows us to pull it out and keep the water out of the bay when we change out the filter. Plus, it doesn't cook in the sun/freeze in the cold.
We pulled the end-table behind the passenger seat out as well as the Eurocliner/foot-stool (ultraleather). They're both in storage and would part of the deal. We made room for an 88-key Yamaha electronic piano and it worked out nicely.
Things that need touching up/repair are the driver-side windshield with a crack in the lower-right corner (courtesy a rock thrown by a passing pickup truck). Some paint touch up on the front and also up top by the roof. The carpet has a couple spots where I used a cleaner to get stains up but, it took up more than just the stain :-( One of the blinds has broken strings in one side. The countertop by the cooktop has a crack (Tiffin said this can happen with 3-burner cooktops). The waterline for the ice maker needs to be repaired. This one is odd but, sometimes when we rinse the black tank, the smell gets inside. We asked Tiffin to look at it in '08 but, they couldn't find any reason for the why of it. The solution has been to run a vent fan (blowing in). It appears to keep it from happening.
