almost empty campground

snow tipped trees

Glorieta was put up for sale 3 years ago and Lifeway could not find a buyer. They contacted Anthony who runs an adventure camp in Tx and was looking for another location for a second camp. He was not looking for something this large. The Lord wants this place to continue bring people to him. Changing the grounds from a conference center to an adventure camp was quite the undertaking. The permits took 6 months longer than anticipated, so there continues to be a lot of scrambling to get things done. They anticipate 15,000 camper to come thru here this summer.

We started work last Friday, a brief orientation in the morning. Danny working with Glenn in Maintenance and Eileen and I are with housekeeping. A lot to get done before the campers arrive.

It began snowing yesterday. A few photos to show the canyon campground, only two of us here now.
