Our day began with breakfast at Sheldon’s Dinette.
We picked up Bob & Janet at 8:30 and drove to our favorite place for breakfast.
Our favorite waitress, Nancy, waited on us and kept us in stitches while we were there.
Once breakfast was finished off, we drove to the new Sam’s Club where we stood in line for a long time to renew our membership.
Bob & Janet shopped while Marilyn stood in line with me.
We finally had our new membership card and shopped around for a bit, making a couple of purchases.
The self checkout was our next hurdle as the receipt it gave me had only the membership fee and did not show the three items we purchased.
That little issue took some time to resolve and we were happy to leave finally, and head for home.
Back at the RV, we relaxed reading our books. Marilyn sat outdoors while I remained indoors.
Later in the afternoon, I lit the grill and put a couple of boneless pork loins on, adding BBQ sauce when they were nearly done.
Marilyn joined Jan and Nan for a glass of wine and conversation while I stayed busy with the grill.
Eddie and Jeff returned from their golfing but I was taking the meat off the grill at the time and didn’t walk over to visit.
Marilyn & I sat together to share an early dinner, then relaxed, me with my book and Marilyn with her cross-stitch project.
There isn’t much on TV tonight so I suspect we will stay with the reading and sewing for the evening.
