Georgetown Grand Cayman

Leaving port, from our back balcony

1/24/19 Georgetown, Grand Cayman

We were off the boat and on the Tender by 7 am today.  It was about 80 degrees from the time we got up until bedtime.  It may have gotten hotter, but I never checked the temperature. Gorgeous day, with some clouds but mostly sunny.  We walked around and shopped for awhile. We've been here several times now. It was good to get there early, as the sun felt very hot later on.  We returned to the ship with only 2 other people on the tender. One of them was from St. Albans, VT! Once aboard, we played a round of miniature golf.  The ship has an awesome course. I won. That was followed by a game of dominoes in the dining area so we could cool off. Jim won the dominoes. After lunch, Jim took a nap and I went to the pool and hot tub.  The pool was a bit cooler than yesterday, but refreshing. A little later, I went to the shaded part of the serenity deck to read. It was very comfortable. We set sail about 3:45. Once the ship headed out, our deck was in the shade so we read read until dinner time.  We sat with a couple from Kansas and had some nice conversation. It was elegant night, so our dinner was Filet Mignon, and it was delicious! The show scheduled for tonight was Flick, and was not so good when I watched it last week, so we skipped it. Tomorrow is Cozumel, our last port...
