Token apology for not being able to accomodate our RV size for...

It's actually May 8 but I'm back-dating this entry to fill in what's been happening.

Wow, time flies when you're havin' fun!!! We left Winslow, AZ and went to Flagstaff, AZ when we had reservations to park the RV at a brewery. We planned on tasting some brew and enjoying a free night of camping. Turns out the fellow that took our reservations was a new employee who was not aware that there was a size limitation of 15ft. for an RV to fit in their parking area. Well our 36ft rig was over twice that however the fellow that greeted us tried to accommodate us and cleared out a space but it still was way too difficult to maneuver our rig into it, not to mention that a very busy railroad track was about 20ft from where we would have parked. We graciously declined the invitation to stay however the fellow helping us felt bad and gave us a departing gift of a free case of beer.

RVers must be flexible, so we headed back down I40 from whence we came and stayed for a free night of camping in the parking lot of Twin Arrows Casino. We did enjoy their buffet dinner and gambled $40 and walked out with $52. Not Bad.

On the 30th we will move in a little closer to Flagstaff do some more free camping in the Coconino National Forest about 4 miles outside of town. I'll post another entry for that.
