We had a slow morning. Last night I started coughing and woke up with the start of a cold. I started off this trip with a cold and it looks as though I have a fresh dose. We went downstairs for breakfast. The room we usually eat in was quite busy and for the first time we had to wait both for a table and for our food to be delivered. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry. After eating we walked round the pools and back to our room. I did some laundry and Christine read on the veranda. We went for an early lunch so we could go to a session with the members of the string quintet. They were answering questions from the audience. It was quite interesting. This was followed by a concert of ballet music. We had a walk then had coffees at a coffee shop before returning to our room and reading and watching the sea go by.
We showered and got ready for another gala night. We went down to our usual place and were joined by the mother and daughter from Alberta. We left them to go to the show which was the dance troop. They were paying tribute to musical instruments and were very good. I am sure that after doing that show again tonight they would not need to be rocked to sleep.
We had a walk round the ship and watched the moon as it has waxed over the past few days. We returned to the room and got ready for tomorrow when we stop at Holland America's private island, Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas.
