Mar 27, 2012 - Still in Costa Rica........2 days and counting

Life in Costa Rica Waking up with nothing to do and only getting half of it done is our new saying ....that's why in the 3 months we've been down here I am just now finding the time to write this blog. January 1 we arrived in Playa Grande and our lives came to an instant halt compared to the almost constant movement of our first 6 months of travel through Europe and South Africa. Aloha from Costa Rica Hi all, this finds us in Costa Rica where we have been for almost three months. It has been a long time since we posted anything on our trip blog. Jul 10, 2008 - Playa Grande

After an eventful last day in San Juan Del Sur we decided that it was time to hit the road, next stop Costa Rica. We decided to head back towards Rivas some 40km away to get cheaper gas and to try to find a car wash. Both were found easily enough and after half an hour panama was cleaner than when we bought her. It really looked like a different car, with all the chrome shining, and the black highlights gleaming. Back on the road with a glistening new car and the weird whirring noise that had started in SJDS subsiding to just a hum, I guess...
