Friday was a busy day! We drove to Naperville for lunch with Elaine and Duane Ross and Laurie and John Gustafson at Hugo’s Frog Bar. There won’t be any baseball get together this year, but, combined with our earlier visit with the Spiveys, I have seen all three other members of the baseball group – and their wives. Our lunch featured good food and good conversation. From Naperville we headed to the home of Kathie and Ray Greenhill on the south side of Chicago. Aug 26, 2011 - Chicago

Danielle and Jeff took the South Shore train into the loop on Wednesday morning while we packed up and headed the See Ya west across the Borman Expressway to Martin’s Campground in New Lennox. At the close of their day, Jeff and Danielle took the Rock Island Metra Line to the New Lennox station where we picked them up. Thursday was a very full day. We drove to the DePaul campus where we dropped off Jeff and Danielle and then headed to the Weber Grill at State and Grand where we met and old friend, Mary Hayes for lunch. We had a great time...

Jun 25, 2008 - Illinois to Arizona 2008

Today is Wednesday June 25th 2008 and we are preparing for our cross country trip from New Lenox Illinois to Lake Mohave Arizona/Nevada. We will be traveling outbound via Nebraska, Colorado and Nevada, and homeward via Arizona, Texas,Oklahoma,Missouri. We are traveling in our New (to us)2006 Jayco Greyhawk Class C motorhome, and I think my wife has packed everthing - even the 'kitchen sink' I will make new entries as we travel and hopefully it will bring back fond memories after we return Home.

Saturday, August 11, 2007. Illini Campground, Marseilles, Illinois. Picking Up the Canoe It's really Saturday, October 13, 2007.
