Sat 3/10 It was cold this morning - mid 30s and it snowed off and on throughout the morning. It never accumulated but it was a good day to hunker down. So I worked on taxes, we made some phone calls and got some other things done. Nothing too exciting today. Sun 3/11 Catwalks and Ghost Towns Today we set off for “the Catwalk” located in Whitewater Canyon in the tiny town of Glenwood, in the Gila National Forest. Sep 3, 2010 - Side trip to Mogollon, NM- Ghost mining town

Before we pulled out of Glenwood, NM we took a side trip to Mogollon (pronounced Muggy-oon), a mining ghost town in the midst of the Mogollon mountain range. The road up there was some kind of scary, with sheer drops, hairpin turns, and huge rock walls jutting out over the road. It was so much fun! Actually, the local people get offended when you call Mogollon a ghost town because they live here, all 12-15 of them.
